- Transaction & Order History: Details of the items you purchase, estimated weights submitted, final weighed weights verified by our agents, and split-payment details (hair value applied as a discount plus any remaining cash paid).
- Device & Usage Data: IP address, device identifiers, operating system version, and application performance logs collected automatically for security and troubleshooting purposes.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your data strictly to operate our platform securely and efficiently:
- To process your orders, manage shopping carts, and generate estimated trade-in discounts.
- To dispatch local field verification agents to your address to weigh your collected materials and deliver your goods.
- To send transactional SMS updates, verification OTPs, and customer service notifications.
- To prevent fraud, abuse, automated bot access, and to ensure security at the doorstep for both users and agents.
3. Sharing and Disclosure of Your Data
We respect your privacy and do not sell your personal data. We only share information in the following specific scenarios:
- With Operational Field Agents: Your name, phone number, and delivery address are shared with our verified agents strictly to execute the physical collection, digital weighing, and doorstep delivery of your specific order.
- With Service Providers: Third-party infrastructure partners who handle critical technical services like SMS OTP routing (e.g., Firebase Authentication) and cloud database hosting.
- For Legal & Safety Compliance: If required by law, regulation, or legal process, or to protect the personal safety and rights of our users, field staff, or the public.

We implement appropriate technical and administrative security frameworks to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration. Physical doorstep interactions are supported by secure digital weighing records mapped directly to your account. However, please note that no digital storage system or internet transmission is 100% secure.
5. Eligibility and Children's Privacy
Our services are entirely restricted to adults. KanghiApp does not knowingly collect, maintain, or request personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If we discover that an account has been created by an individual under 18, we will terminate the profile and erase all associated account data immediately.
6. Your Data Rights and Account Deletion
Depending on your jurisdiction, you have the right to access, correct, update, or request the deletion of your personal information. When managing your account deletion, the following rules apply:
- Profile Data Erasure: Upon receiving a formal account deletion request via the App settings or through email, we will immediately delete your personal account credentials, name, email addresses, and phone numbers from our active user authentication databases.
- Legal and Transactional Data Retention: Please note that any physical trade history, digital weights verified, invoices issued, and billing logs cannot be immediately deleted. Under statutory financial, commercial, and taxation regulations in India, we are legally required to retain transactional record history for accounting purposes and future legal audits. These specific transaction records will be securely archived and permanently anonymized or purged only after the legal retention period expires.
